C&F is participating in a great fundraising event benefiting MSF/Doctors Without Borders hosted by the Spoonful of Sugar group. The SOS fashion, home, garden and breedable event is being held on 4 different SIMS with lots of special events. All merchants have special offerings and we’re all donating 50% – 100% of our proceeds to MSF/Doctors Without Borders. When you enter a shop, you’ll also see little sugar bowls with special 10L – 20L gifties, all proceeds to the benefit.

I’ve also posted a variety of items from my shop at sale prices, and an assortment of accessories. Please come and help support this group!
This new medieval outfit is available at this month’s Genre event for the theme “Celts”. The gown and omega appliers come in 5 colors, all 50% off for the duration of the event. And there’s a little $20L giftie of Celtic Knot jewelry for the event visitors. The event runs through Oct 11. Come and get the goodies!
I had lots of fun on this outfit, as this is one of my favorite fashion styles. These Edwardian, turn -of-the-century outfits are now available at Genre for only $100L through the event month. Hats are $50L. The boots are available in my shop.
I’m not really obsessed with military fashion, it’s just a phase These outfits were designed for the Genre Military event this last month, and are now available in the main shop. There are two uniform styles, long jacket and short jacket, for the Army of the Lion, and the Army of the Dragon. The short jacket includes a hud so you can change the color. Each army has embossed symbols on the jacket, military cap, and trouser legs. Matching ankle bootlets too. The Dragon uniform got blogged too! Check out this great blogpost!
Madison is the culmination of lots of research, looking for women in the Civil War. I found some very interesting articles and photos – see my pinterest list for a few – but of course, my Madison outfit is a bit … shinier… than anything historically accurate. No woman fighting during the civil war would have been seen in something so flashy and extravagant. Well, maybe in a dress review? Post-civil war parties?
The jacket is all over detail, with custom embossed roses on the lapel, collar and sleeves, brass buttons and chains. The trousers have rivets down the sides that match the buckle/strap rivets on the boots.
Each piece is available separately, but you save on the bundle. The bundle includes cap with goggles, jacket, trousers, boots, and bonus blouse with collar, cravat/scarf and cameo fastener.
I’ve introduced Madison in four colors: brown/gold, black/silver, red/brass and green/gold.
I had a request for some long tight pants to wear with Jaden’s outfit instead of the built-in boots with pants that are in the outfit bundle. Finally, here they are! The first version, anyway, tight fitting, nice round booty, high waist, mesh in 5 sizes. Comes in two versions, full length and shortened to wear with calf boots. They should be tight enough to wear with taller boots. I made Jaden’s stripe colors, plus a few more with colors to match Millicent and Vittoria jackets.
On sale in the main shop this weekend. They’ll be regular price and on the MP after that.
It’s almost settled! The dust that is. I’m still organizing inventory – took some time obsessing on a little garden area, realized things were too spread out and added a little teleport system, and through all this I’ve managed to keep up with weekend sales and new releases. Of course, I haven’t had time to do much else but it’s fun to have an obsession like this.
My ToDo List includes a section for furnishings/decor and where to put all my historical costumery… skyboxes maybe? Come and visit! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Woodland%20Park/208/185/21
I’m having fun with this one, it’s not traditional anything, but then, most of my stuff doesn’t fall properly into any category.
It all started with the jacket…
This amazing mesh has buttons all down the front and super wide lapels. It also has straps and buckles across the back which I’m not fond of, and I wish the mesher had added buttons on the cuff, but other than that, it’s a perfect mesh!
The other outfit pieces followed — cravat, button-up blouse, trousers, hat and the most wonderful little boots!
All these pieces are available separately, but I also made an outfit bundle to save $L.
And then I had to make more colors. Voila! Vittoria in five colors (red, green, black, blue, and steampunk brown):
Black, red and steampunk are available on the marketplace now and I’ll be adding the rest shortly.
Marvelous Milliners has blogged my hats! This just tickles me, because most of my hats are parts of various outfits, and I’ve offered them for sale as separate pieces for those who want just the hat. So it’s uber kewl to get some recognition for my little headwear. :))
